Coordinating weddings are not always achieved by design; rather successful wisdom, gained from the approach and ability to remain humble for each and every client.
My utmost concern prior to booking a wedding is having an established and shared mutual confidence.
I am passionate and pride myself on successful weddings - eliminating surprises!
I believe in offering an experience starting here and getting to know you, and not through texting or social media - in fact, you will not find me on social media. I do not believe my lack of social media outpour reflects my professional work. My clients privacy comes first. I want YOU to showcase your life as little or much as YOU want. Let's grab a coffee over a no-pressure consultation!
I value quality over quantity, only taking on a limited amount of summer weddings. YOU will benefit having a bountiful Coordinator and one that emphasizes the importance of work/family life balance.
Should you find yourself overwhelmed with the start or middle of the wedding planning and along with the daily grind of life, stop. Please contact me and let's get you some structure!
If you are the mother of a bride or groom, wanting and needing guidance or even to act as a liaison between all parties, I get you. Please contact me.

I'm a Seattle native, though my roots are in my hometown of Snohomish. I moved to East Wenatchee in 2007, this is HOME.
Horses stole my heart at age 7, and it was years of showing and independently thinking that taught me the ins and outs of how to make the best better, and often in teams. Could have also been the 13 years spent in 4-H that early mentored organization, resiliency, and positive youth development, that of reasons I sought adventure in hospitality and in the event industry.
I've accumulated a solid 17 years in the hospitality/event industry and have worked all jobs there is to learn and grow from in the trade. Starting in Seattle based hotels at the ground floor; fluffing pillows to dishes, catering, waiting tables, bar-tending, physical labor of setup/tear down, leading conferences large and small, to managing wedding shows and bookings for a large Seattle photography studio, my 20's were educated from hands on experience.
My landing east side move in 2007 grounded my passion for events while working for Lake Chelan's premier winery and also at a local wedding venue. There at the top of event management of leading staff, organizing and scheduling concerts and weddings, I launched Colleen Simpson Weddings and Events to fulfill my vision of work life balance while being a stay-at home Mom. There's no greater joy than raising my two littles!
In total, I've debuted more than 300 weddings - I'm not done! There's more people to meet from near and far, more memories to create, and stories to hear and tell.
It is with great pleasure that I'm able to offer YOU a service created and gained from versatility, humility and experience.
